It seems like a lot of celebrities have been accused of sexual crimes lately and it’s pretty upsetting. Some of them did the things they were accused of, but why assume guilt as soon as they’re accused? I just learned that one of the few celebrities that I actually look up to (forgetting that he’s a scientologist) was accused of rape. Danny Masterson’s statement about the accusation points out a major problem with the country right now. “You are presumed innocent until proven guilty. However, in the current climate, it seems as if you are presumed guilty the moment you are accused.” That isn’t the only thing he said about it, but it is what stuck out to me the most because it is %100 true. If you look into the story, you’ll notice how the women didn’t go straight to the police, they went to the Netflix executives and why fire him? It’s an investigation. What happened to innocent until proven guilty. Maybe just suspend him until the investigation is over. It’s ridiculous.
